The Kingdom of God!
Chapter 114
We live in a day when the Holy Spirit
of God is revealing many of the mysteries of the Bible to those who have an ear
to hear. Father I pray that You give us eyes to see
and ears to hear so that we as a family may learn to receive the hidden manna
of God as the Holy Spirit releases it through His prophets and teachers. Amen!
Since I am talking about The
Kingdom of God let me expand on this and tell you what actually
happen when God created Adam in His image and likeness. Before Adam
willfully sinned in the garden there were only five kingdoms on the earth. The
order of these kingdoms was as follows, 1. The Kingdom of God, 2. The Kingdom
of man or Adam, 3. The Angel Kingdom, 4. The Animal Kingdom, 5. The Plant
Kingdom.
Before Adam was created by God there were only
four Kingdoms. 1. The Kingdom of God, 2. The Angelic Kingdom, 3 The Animal
Kingdom, 4. The Plant Kingdom. However, when God said in Genesis 1:26-28,
"Let us make man in our image,
after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. So God
created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and
female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be
fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every
living thing that moves upon the earth."
This information must have been
overheard in heaven as the Godhead discussed this and the angels knew something
great was about to happen.
There was an angel created by God
and whose beauty was second to none. Ezekiel 28:12-19 talks about this angel.
"You sealed up the sum, full of
wisdom, and perfect in beauty. You have been in Eden the
garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the sardius, topaz,
and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the
emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your tabrets and of
your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you was created. You are
the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you was
upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the
stones of fire. You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were
created,until iniquity was found
in you. By the multitude of your merchandise, they
have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I
will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of
fire. Your heart was lifted up
because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your
brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings,
that they may behold you. You have defiled your sanctuaries
by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you,
it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight
of all them that behold you. All they that know you among
the people shall be astonished at you: you shalt be a terror, and
never shall you be any more."
In Isaiah 14:12 the Lord said
this about this angel,
"How you are fallen from
heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who
laid the nations low! You said in your heart, 'I will ascend to heaven; above the stars of I will set my throne on high; I will sit on the mount of
assembly in the far reaches of the north; I will ascend above the heights of
the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.' But you are brought
down to Sheol, to the far reaches of the pit."
The stones of fire represent revelation
and this angel had the authority to walk among the stones of revelation and
when he heard the revelation of God creating someone that was greater than him
was to be created, jealousy arose within him and in Psalm 8 it says that he
approached God and said this,
"What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man,
that you visit him? For you have made him a little lower than
the angels (God) and
have crowned him with glory and honor. You made him to have
dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his
feet: All sheep and oxen, yes, and the beasts of the field; The
fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through
the paths of the seas."
You see, up until the time God
formed Adam in His own image and gave him the authority over everything in the
earth, Satan was chief among the angels and all of the
heavenly host looked up to him. Can you image how furious this made him to find
out that God was going to create a man and give all this authority to him? This
definitely could explain why the earth was void and
without form in Gen. 1:1. God never creates something that is not perfect and
in order! So, something had to have happen to the earth before Gen. 1:2
When Adam bowed to the word of
Satan and believed Satan and not God, the order of the Kingdoms changed. God's
Kingdom was and always will be the number one Kingdom. But when Adam sinned,
the Kingdom of the angel Satan was in the number two order and man was in the
number three order. Paul said in Rom. 7:14,
"For we know that the law is
spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin."
This now brings us to Matt. 4.
Verse 1 says,
"Then Jesus was led up of the
Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil!"
How can this be? The Apostle James said in James 1:13,
"Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for
God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man:"
This is true but in Matt. 4 it says that the Holy Spirit led Jesus to the wilderness to be tempted of the devil! The great Apostle John answers this question in 1 John 3:8,
"For this purpose the Son of God
was manifested, that he
might destroy the works of the devil."
The Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to destroy the works of the devil! The devil tried all of his tricks to cause Jesus to serve him like Adam had done. Up until the baptism of Jesus the devil had no idea who the promised one was until after Jesus was baptize and the heaven open and God announced that Jesus is His Son in whom He is well pleased! Then the devil knew who he had to try to destroy.
He had heard the proclamation of the angels to the shepherds, so he tried to kill Jesus by having all the Jewish children under the age of two killed.
I want you to notice what he did in Matt. 4:8,
"Again, the devil taketh him
(Jesus) up into an exceeding high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of
the world, and the glory of them; And said to him, All
these things will I give you, if you will fall down and worship me."
Notice that he did not say nations, but Kingdoms. Jesus quoted the word again to him by saying, "Get behind me Satan for it is written, "You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve!" Jesus knew that Satan was a liar and said so in John 8:44,
"You are of your father the devil, and
the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the
beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him.
When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of
it."
Satan tried at least once to kill Jesus before he thought that he had succeeded on the cross. It happened in His home church in Luke 4:28-30,
"And all they in the synagogue,
when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him
unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast
him down headlong. But he passing
through the midst of them went his way."
This confirms what Jesus said in John 10:17-18, (NIV)
"The reason my Father
loves me is that I lay down my life only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I
lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and
authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."
Also in John 18:6 when the temple guard came
out to arrest Jesus,
"As soon then as he
had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground."
The presence of the Holy Spirit of God was so powerful that they staggered and went backwards and fell to the ground. They had no power to take Jesus but it was His time to obey His Father's wishes and He said to them, "Who are you seeking?" And they said Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus said, "I am He! He willfully gave himself to them because it was His time!
When Jesus died on that cross all hell rejoiced because they thought that they had won. Satan is a fallen angel and angels were created to be servants and do not have the ability to know what the Father is planning to do unless He speaks to them. If Satan had known and discerned what the Father was doing, he would have done his best to see that Jesus was left alone. He only found out who Jesus was when the Lord God said when Jesus was baptized, This is my beloved Son, whom I am well pleased. All of the spiritual world heard Him say this!"
Satan was completely defeated when Jesus was raised from the dead. All of Satan's armed forces could not stop this from happening! Paul said in Eph. 1:18-21, (NIV)
"I pray that the eyes of your heart may be
enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the
riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for
us who believe.
That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ
from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far
above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is
invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come."
There is power in the Body of Christ where we
were baptized into by the Holy Spirit. Paul said in 1 Cor. 12:13,
"For by one Spirit
are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles,
whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one
Spirit."
Paul also said in Rom. 5:17-21,
"For if by one man's offence death
reigned by one; (Adam)
much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore
as by the offence of one (Adam) judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one (Jesus) the free
gift came upon all men unto justification of life."
(NIV) For as by one man's (Adam) disobedience many were
made sinners, so by the obedience of one (Jesus) shall many be made
righteous. Moreover, the law entered, that the offence might
abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: That
as sin has reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness
unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord."
When Adam chose to obey Satan rather than God, it flip the order of the Kingdoms and when the second Adam came (Jesus) flipped it back to the original order.
1. The Kingdom of God
2. The Kingdom of man
3. The Kingdom of angels
4. The Kingdom of plants
This revelation explains the order of the reigning Kingdoms. You will need to meditate on these scriptures and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal this to you. This is nonsense to the carnal mind because it cannot understand the mind of Christ.
